Ken is a comic artist, illustrator and concept designer based north of Tokyo. Born in New York, he spent the first 10 years of his life immersed in movies. After returning to Japan, Ken got into Japanese manga, and started producing his own artwork. During his career, Ken has done concept art for music videos (Japanese pop trio, Perfume), video games (Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell
and Rayman 2), anime (Gonzo Productions), and for the Vantan Design Institute.
His first graphic novel Septieme Ange was published in France in 2007, with writers Stéphane Miquel and Nicolas Tackian. During this period, he was mentored by Kaji Kawaguchi, the award winning creator of the Eagle and Zipang comic series.
